I upgraded serendipity to the 1.2 branch.
Since the old template has been arround for some time, I decided to change it.
I installed Competition template by David Cummins. The previous template was with fixed width, so I kind of wanted to experiment with adjustable widh skin. I like the collors and warm feel that the coffee and browny-yellow background create. I suppose that I will change the coffee image, but for now this one is great. New favicon is in action, too
I just increased width or rightbar to 250px:
– it still looks good at 800×600
– the main text is narrowed, so easier to read (but wider than before, so there won’t be problems due to width of inserted images. I hope )
– I need the extra width
I see that the Firefox shows it even wider, I will check where the problem is and fix it.
I also underlined all links, since they were not easy to find just by their color.
Another todo for following days is translation of all entries to bulgarian, too.
Few months ago, I thought that it would be nice to have blog entries in serbian also, too, but I just don’t have time to translate all the pages (but, we will see :8 )
